One key feature of future ocean systems is in the ability to predict the ocean environment through Digital Metocean technologies. Together, the environmental forces acting on ships and offshore systems due to waves, winds and currents exert a dominant influence on how such systems behave and respond. The predictability of the operating environment is thus fundamental in enabling safer and more efficient operations.

Building on its expertise in the hydrodynamics of the maritime and ocean environment, TCOMS is developing a digital twin of the metocean environment for the waters around Singapore and for locations of offshore assets of interest.
