The Marine & Offshore (M&O) industry has been embracing digital transformation, driven by the rapid growth of digitalisation and also by the need to be globally competitive. Most digitalisation efforts today are targeted at the local or component level of assets, such as machinery and equipment, to enhance productivity and evolve concepts such as digital twinning and predictive maintenance.

TCOMS’s focus is on enhancing the predictability of the operating environment and the behaviour and response of ocean systems in challenging and complex sea states. As a national R&D centre dedicated to the M&O sector, TCOMS combines its core capabilities in hydrodynamics, fluid-structure interactions and structural dynamics with the competencies of our partner Institutes of Higher Learning and A*STAR Research Institutes to solve multi-faceted real world challenges.
